Abstract

Version 2 adds an open-boundary verification of the separated two-disk branch using zero-padded convolution. The open-boundary calculation gives λ_scan^open,exactP ≈ 48.06 and supports a far-separated estimate λ∞ ≈ 42.0, with a conservative range 42–44.
