Abstract

Quantum many-body dynamics generate nonclassical correlations that are naturally characterized within the framework of quantum resource theories. We investigate the local dynamics of three key quantum resources in a one-dimensional qubit chain evolved under random brickwall circuits: Magic (nonstabilizerness) Quantum coherence Fermionic non-Gaussianity (NG) We consider two complementary dynamical settings: Resourceless initial states with resource-generating gates:The local resource exhibits a universal rise–peak–fall temporal profile. The peak time increases logarithmically with subsystem size, after which the resource decays exponentially as the subsystem approaches the maximally mixed state. Resourceful initial states with resource-preserving operations:Local resource spreading is ballistic, giving rise to a well-defined light-cone structure in space-time. Together, these results provide a unified picture of the spatiotemporal dynamics of quantum resources in local random circuits and establish a baseline for understanding more structured quantum many-body systems.
