Study 20 — Toxoplasma gondii and Glioma: Seroprevalence Correlation and PAF Estimation
Abstract
Study 20 of the Hidden Infections research series. Toxoplasma gondii shows particular neurotropism and establishes latent CNS infection in approximately one-third of the global population. Ecological studies document a positive correlation between national T. gondii seroprevalence and glioblastoma incidence rates. This study performs a systematic ecological analysis across 30+ countries and derives a PAF estimate for T. gondii-associated glioma. Group E: Burden quantification. CC0 public domain. AI-assisted draft pre-print.
