Abstract

This work introduces the triad (Δ,Λ,Ψ)(\Delta,\Lambda,\Psi)(Δ,Λ,Ψ) as a set of algebraic operations defined on a structure consisting of two subspaces V+V^{+}V+, V−V^{-}V−, and an involution Ψ\PsiΨ exchanging them. The triad simultaneously expresses three fundamental aspects of structure: Orientation (selection through inversion; the grading σ\sigmaσ; the sign group Z2\mathbb{Z}_{2}Z2), Relation (the scale of ratios carried by the scaled exchange Ψλ\Psi_{\lambda}Ψλ; multiplication/division over R+\mathbb{R}^{+}R+), and Dimension (hierarchical ordering generated by Δ=σΨ\Delta=\sigma\PsiΔ=σΨ; the cyclic structure ⟨Δ⟩≅Z4\langle\Delta\rangle\cong\mathbb{Z}_{4}⟨Δ⟩≅Z4, corresponding to addition/subtraction). The involution Ψ\PsiΨ acts on the scaled exchange Ψλ\Psi_{\lambda}Ψλ by conjugation, inducing the inversion of the ratio λ↦1/λ\lambda\mapsto1/\lambdaλ↦1/λ. This involution has the unique fixed point λ=1\lambda=1λ=1, thereby closing the open scale R+\mathbb{R}^{+}R+ into a circle carrying the order-four cyclic group ⟨Δ⟩≅Z4\langle\Delta\rangle\cong\mathbb{Z}_{4}⟨Δ⟩≅Z4. This closure establishes the algebraic origin of the order-four dimension operator directly from the triadic structure. A dedicated demarcation section establishes that the order-four structure is a purely algebraic consequence of this closure. It further shows that the only remaining unconstructed element—the supply of an external scale—cannot be determined from within the triadic structure itself: by Axiom T2, every algebraic invariant of the scaled operators is independent of λ\lambdaλ, so no internal consistency condition can select a preferred scale. An externally supplied constant therefore fixes only the physical interpretation of a particular ratio while leaving the dimensionless algebraic content unchanged. The necessity of an external scale is thus not a deficiency but a rigorous consequence of the intrinsic scale-neutrality of the triadic structure. Together, these results establish a unified algebraic framework in which orientation, relation, and dimension arise as complementary aspects of a single triadic structure, providing a common structural foundation for subsequent mathematical and physical formulations. All algebraic statements presented in this work are verified by twelve accompanying verification scripts.
