Bestimmte Negation as Phase Transition Three Falsifiable Predictions from a Dialectical Thermodynamics
Abstract
This paper formalizes Bestimmte Negation (determinate negation) as the Dialectical Negation Operator (DNO) and derives three falsifiable predictions linking Hegelian dialectics to thermodynamics. The self-referential information density ρs ≡ I_self/(I_self + I_env) is introduced as a continuous measure of organizational depth. Predictions: (P3.1) critical exponents β are linked to changes in self-referential dimensionality; (P3.2) institutional change rates exhibit power-law acceleration as ρs approaches critical thresholds; (P3.3) social phase transitions carry a two-component institutional latent heat (Landauer lower bound + topological loop-closure cost).
