The Universe Is a Southpaw: Why the Weak Force Violates Parity, Forced by the Two-Handed Fibre of the Fold
Abstract
One axiom. One operation. Zero free parameters. In 1956 physics learned the weak force violates parity — it couples only to left-handed particles, and the mirror-image process does not happen. The universe is a southpaw. The Standard Model encodes this by hand but never says why. This paper forces it. The fold is two-to-one: every image has exactly two preimages, a lower one below the half-One and its antipode above it, both folding to the same image — the two hands, of distinct handedness. The weak coupling keeps only the lower hand. A force that acts on one preimage and not its mirror behaves differently on a process and its reflection — that is parity violation. The universe is left-handed because the fold’s coupling picks the lower of its two hands. Machine-checked; reproduces from one command.
