Serum Metabolomic Profiling of Nude Mice Fed an Isoleucine- and Valine-Restricted Diet
Abstract
This study investigated the effects of dietary isoleucine and valine restriction on circulating metabolite levels in nude mice. Mice were provided either a control diet or a diet with restricted isoleucine and valine. At the experimental endpoint, serum samples were collected and subjected to metabolomic analysis to characterize changes in the circulating metabolome. The primary objective was to verify the metabolic effects of the dietary intervention and determine whether restriction of isoleucine and valine altered their circulating levels and associated metabolic pathways. The resulting dataset provides a comparative profile of serum metabolites between mice maintained on the control and isoleucine/valine-restricted diets.
