Abstract

This paper presents a clinical and developmental framework for psychospiritual healing practice, offered as the practitioner-safety and clinical-competency companion to Psychosomatic University's Advanced Spiritual Warfare and Archonic Studies (ASAS) cosmological framework. Where the ASAS white paper (Roberts, G., 2025) establishes the theoretical and cosmological architecture underlying PSU's approach to spiritual and psychological affliction, this paper establishes the clinical standard governing how that architecture is applied in practice. Central to this framework is the Three-Consideration Standard — Client Readiness, Client Framework, and Practitioner Competency — which structures the Switch Method, PSU's signature practitioner protocol, within an evidence-informed, trauma-aware model of human development. Drawing on established literature in trauma-informed care, nervous system regulation, and attachment theory, this paper argues that psychospiritual healing is most safely and effectively understood not as the repair of a defect but as the developmental unfolding of a person who was never, at their core, broken. The paper concludes with explicit scope-of-practice boundaries and contraindications intended to govern responsible clinical application
