Relational Reduction (RR): A Baseline-Relative Threshold Discriminator for Gravity-Linked State Reduction
Abstract
This manuscript presents Relational Reduction (RR) as a baseline-relative threshold discriminator for gravity-linked state reduction. RR does not claim to discover a new Diósi-Penrose gravitational action scale. Instead, it adopts the standard action parameter χ = ΔE_G τ / ħ and adds a distinctive negative postulate: after environmental, instrumental, readout, and known-systematic contributions have been independently measured or bounded and subtracted, there is no anomalous gravity-linked residual channel below χ ≈ 1. The manuscript defines the residual observable R_G = Γ_obs − Γ_base, formulates the threshold condition, derives the platform-dependent scaling signature m_peak ∝ τ^(-3/5), and states clear falsification conditions. The proposal is not presented as a completed collapse model or peer-reviewed result. It is archived as a dated working manuscript to document the current formulation of RR and make it citable for future examination, criticism, and development. A Danish companion version is included as supplementary material.
