Abstract

Here, we present the data analyzed in our study "Inferring three-body interactions in cell migration dynamics" (https://doi.org/10.1103/xsg5-cb6l). The data includes the trajectories of three cells interacting within fibronectin-coated confining micropatterns, for both MDA-MB-231 breast cancer cells and MCF-10A breast epithelial cells. For each cell line, we provide the sequences of microscopy image of the interacting cells with three channels: phase contrast, fluorescent imaging of the cell nuclei, and fluorescent imaging of the pattern. The time interval between frames is 10 minutes, and the pixel size is 0.66 µm. We also included tracking of the cell nuclei in CSV files. The field "particle" corresponds to the cell identifier, "frame" corresponds to the time frame, "x" corresponds to the position in pixels along the long axis of the pattern, and "y" corresponds to the position in pixels along the short axis of the pattern. Additionally, we provide the code used to analyze the experimental data.
