Architectures of Coherent Intelligence Public Defensive Disclosure
Abstract
Description: This public defensive disclosure introduces Architectures of Coherent Intelligence (ACI), a proposed governed cognitive architecture for preserving coherent adaptation across reasoning, memory, grounding, verification, authority, audit, rollback, continuity, and self-modification pressure. ACI treats cognition as governed state transition rather than unstructured generation. The framework separates memory from authority, coherence from evidence, review from mutation, scale from legitimacy, and continuity from raw recall. It proposes a constitutional architecture in which symbolic structures carry metadata, provenance, grounding status, uncertainty, authority limits, allowed uses, prohibited uses, and audit history before they may shape future cognition. This disclosure establishes public prior existence of the ACI theory, roadmap, terminology, architectural distinctions, and Phase 10 prototype-refinement direction as of the publication date. It is not a claim of completed implementation, consciousness, autonomous general intelligence, or external validation. Citations: Petruzzi, Robert J. (2026).
