Abstract

A concise map of the Ibis Horizons participatory-perception framework. Its organizing claim is that reality is always fully available, and what varies is our openness to recognize it — so the limiting factor for individuals, institutions, and cultures is often not information but the capacity to recognize what is already present. The piece names and distinguishes the framework's core facets — availability, recognition, grounded openness, re-coherence, and participation — and shows how the same structure recurs at every scale, from a single moment of perception to the futures a civilization can see. It is intended as an orienting overview and entry point to the framework's fuller treatments. Part of a five-piece series (2026)
