Enterprise Digital Brain™: A reference architecture for connecting enterprise signals institutional memory decision services and execution workflows
Abstract
Enterprise Digital Brain™ v1.0 is a practitioner reference framework for connecting fragmented enterprise signals, data, documents, institutional knowledge, decision support, and execution workflows into a coherent and governed intelligence architecture. The framework defines four interconnected layers—Signals & Data, Knowledge Memory, Decision Services, and Execution Workflows—supported by the cross-cutting capabilities of Context, Memory, and Reasoning. It provides organizations with a structured approach for transforming distributed information and organizational knowledge into reusable institutional memory, decision-ready intelligence, and controlled action. Developed by Rakesh Kumar Agrawal and published by Enterprise Intelligence Lab, the framework is intended for enterprise leaders, architects, AI and data practitioners, knowledge-management professionals, researchers, and organizations designing scalable enterprise intelligence and AI-enabled knowledge systems.
