Diagnostic Analysis of the LPC Minimal Mixed Two-Layer Effective Model: Exact Consistent Truncation, Finite Heavy-Field Reduction, and the Path-Dependent Large-κ Limit / LPC「最小混合二層有効モデル」の診断的解析:厳密一貫切断、有限重場削減および経路依存する大κ極限
Abstract
[English Abstract] This paper presents a classical diagnostic analysis of the relations among exact truncation, heavy-field reduction, and the large-mass limit when the continuous effective-action sector of the completed LPC v3 single-field model is extended to a minimal mixed two-field system. The analysis is based on a frozen two-derivative Brans–Dicke-type action containing collective and relative fields. The conditions η=0 and Y=0 define an exact consistent truncation at finite parameter values and reproduce the continuous Jordan-frame and Einstein-frame action sectors of v3 with the same parameter values, matter action, and boundary conventions. By contrast, reducing the relative field at finite κ with η≠0 generates a finite shift in the potential coefficient and an induced kinetic term, so the resulting single-field action does not in general coincide exactly with v3. The large-κ limit depends on the limiting path of rκ=η²/κ; along a finite-threshold double-scaling path, a finite threshold shift remains even when the stationary value of the relative field approaches zero. Moreover, the operations of eliminating the relative field and taking the limit do not generally commute on the stationary curve of the classical potential. The large-κ expansion is restricted to fixed bounded regions of X or suitably restricted plateau branches and is not uniform over the full field domain. The limits ω→0⁺, 2ω+3→0⁺, κ→0, η²→γκ, Φ→0⁺, and Y→±1 represent distinct singular or degenerate limits and cannot be identified with ordinary heavy-field decoupling. The Gaussian quadratic elimination and asymptotic suppression obtained here are classical results that require a low-energy regime, bounded backgrounds, an internal stationary curve, the absence of independent heavy-field excitations, and the necessary boundary conditions; they do not establish a fully nonlinear tree-level EFT or quantum decoupling. This paper does not establish a new theory of gravity specific to LPC, a microscopic layered structure, the logarithmic lattice axiom of v3, or independent observational predictions.[日本語概要] 本稿は、完成済みLPC v3一場模型の連続有効作用セクターを最小の混合二場系へ拡張した場合に、厳密切断、重場削減および大質量極限の関係を診断する古典的な技術論文である。
