The Khôra Scar Tensor: A Single Spin-2 Object Unifying the CMB Axis Alignment, Dark-Energy Subdominance, and Cosmic Birefringence
Abstract
We introduce the Khôra Scar Tensor K_munu, a symmetric transverse trace-free (spin-2) object defined as the tensorial Radon-Nikodym derivative of a pre-geometric fibration state with respect to the finite trace of a type II_1 von Neumann algebra obtained by crossed product with an observer worldline (dressed-observer construction, CLPW). A single such object simultaneously accounts for three otherwise-unrelated features: dark-energy subdominance compatible with dynamical dark energy (DESI), the CMB quadrupole-octupole 'Axis of Evil' sectorial structure (with the ecliptic alignment conceded to systematics), and cosmic birefringence via the parity-odd Pontryagin density of the Hopf helicity coupled to electromagnetism. The framework yields two falsifiable predictions distinguishing it from a generic axion picture: (1) anisotropic birefringence whose principal axis aligns with the temperature quadrupole-octupole axis (parameter-free; verified |n_beta.n_T|=1.0000), and (2) a single-scale spherical-Bessel low-l cascade, so fixing k*chi from C3/C2~0.26 predicts C4/C2~0.035. Two gaps are declared openly: the existence of K_munu is postulated (a derivation from the crossed product is outstanding), and the birefringence magnitude fixes the free coupling rather than being predicted. A framework/priority note.
