Abstract

This paper — the ninth publication of this corpus — establishes five scientific results through the Transitive Analysis of Accumulated Human Experience. First: that the belief that laboratory empiricism is the totality of empiricism is false — confirmed by the history of the empiricist tradition itself, and established through the dual scientific proof: formal proof with irrefutable self-evident truth status, confirmed independently by transitive consilience without exception. Second: that the accumulated record of human experience throughout history constitutes the largest corpus of first-person data in existence — individual subjective experience expressed in transmissible form. This recognition has no precedent in the history of epistemology. Third: that a categorical distinction must be established between the individual first-person datum — which is not scientific by itself — and the collective first-person datum: the universal operative truth that the Transitive Analysis extracts from the totality of accumulated human experience through consilient synthesis, without valid counterexample in the complete corpus. This epistemological category, never previously identified, constitutes the most robust scientific result available about what humanity has actually experienced — what it means to be human, lived from within. Fourth: that the Transitive Analysis of Accumulated Human Experience is the birth of rigorous first-person science — the first executable scientific method that includes the direct experience of living within its legitimate scientific domain, with the criteria of reproducibility, verifiability, falsifiability, and consilience that science demands. Fifth: that the Transitive Analysis is, in its full nature, the science of total experience — operating on the totality of accumulated human experience without segregating first and third person. One of its most radical contributions without precedent — and the focus of this paper — is the rigorous inclusion of first-person experience, for which no scientific method previously existed. The results established here have been operative throughout the prior eight publications of this corpus. This paper makes them explicit because their correct understanding is necessary for grasping the full scientific significance of the Transitive Analysis as a method.
