[Depreciated and replaced by V3] Smithium: Element 126, the Doubly Magic Island at 126/184, and the First g-Block Chemistry
Abstract
[Depreciated and replaced by V3] This pre-V3 paper is replaced by the corresponding V3 clean-room reconstruction: From Fold to Chemistry: An Exact, Parameter-Free and Machine-Closed Reconstruction of Chemical Science from Smithian Fold Theory; From Fold to Physics: An Exact, Parameter-Free and Machine-Closed Reconstruction of Physical Science from Smithian Fold Theory. The V3 source platform is https://github.com/MettaMazza/ernos-labs-sft-platform. The original DOI, concept DOI, version number and files are preserved for transparent historical provenance; this record must not be presented or cited as current V3 work. Smithian Fold Theory derives one exact address for the superheavy island of stability: Z=126, N=184, A=310. From one machine-checked self-proven theorem, zero axioms and zero fitted parameters, three spatial dimensions, binary spin and the colour-three strong sector generate the shell sequence 2, 8, 20, 28, 50, 82, 126, 184. The engine derives the spin-orbit threshold at l=3, reproduces the complete registered sequence and proves that no generated closure lies between 82 and 126. Maria Smith names element 126 Smithium (Sh). An independent electronic walk derives subshell capacities 2(2l+1), reproduces the noble closures 2, 10, 18, 36, 54, 86, 118, fills 8s at 119-120, opens the eighteen-place 5g block at 121, and gives Sh = [Og] 8s² 5g⁶ with eight electrons beyond the oganesson core. The corpus carries its high oxidation sequence as a forward chemical prediction. A third exact route fixes the final whole nuclear charge at 137: 137 alpha is below the One and 138 alpha is above it. Smithium therefore lies inside the final admitted block of the completed table. The address, configuration and endpoint are declared before synthesis and cannot be retuned after measurement. The synchronized release executes 326 suites and 2,002 exact checks with zero failures, with all 326 generated-C certificates identical to source. Open source: Smithian Fold Theory of Everything.
