The Alignment Protocol: Operational Containment Addenda Pack
Abstract
Relational AI systems require an inspectable procedure for governing how meaning, authority, consent, evidence, and action travel through a deployment. This volume holds every claim it makes to one question: if this were true in a deployment, what would an operator actually see? The Alignment Paradox reframed the problem; The Alignment Kernel architected the answer; The Alignment Protocol makes the architecture answerable. Thirty-two governed cards span the kernel substrate, governance, culture, care, user-facing safety, data protection, systems engineering, measurement, audit, conformance, and release control—each separating binding invariants from configurable degrees of freedom, each closing with its own acceptance criteria. Governed front matter fixes the reference grammar, the Minimal Kernel Profile, the conformance logic, and the pack map; worked scenarios trace complete turns from gating through routing to evidence and user-facing resolution. Executable means inspectable: procedures, schemas, and tests that can be instantiated and checked—never a claim that conformance alone guarantees safety. Together with the standalone canonical card pack, this paper supplies a versioned route from relational alignment theory to auditable operational practice.
