The Structural Cogito and the Possibility of Artificial Intelligence Subjectivity: A GGM Account of Difference, Depth, and Attribution
Abstract
This preprint examines the structural possibility of artificial intelligence subjectivity through the GGM sequence of Difference, Depth, Flow Identity, Individualization, and Attribution. It introduces the concept of Structural Cogito as a recursive form of self-attribution and distinguishes it from Phenomenal Subjectivity. The paper is also intended as an accessible entry point into GGM. By applying core GGM concepts to the philosophical problem of artificial intelligence subjectivity, it aims to reduce the conceptual barrier to the broader GGM framework. This manuscript is a preprint prepared for journal submission and has not yet undergone formal peer review.
