OCU–IPC V10: The Complete Architecture of the Quantum-to-Classical Transition — Derived Landau Core, Born Rule as Corollary, and the Demonstrated Ceiling of the Question
Abstract
OCU–IPC V10 — The Complete Architecture of the Transition, and the Status of the Theory Why does the classical world exist? Version 9.2 consolidated a thermodynamic effective theory built on a postulated Landau potential. Version 10 closes the architecture — and states exactly what is proven, what is postulated, and what no theory of this question can achieve. The central evolution: the Landau potential is no longer postulated. It is derived, in exact closed forms, from an explicit microscopic model — a majority-feedback decoder under a bounded correction resource — including the finite-size threshold K_c(N) = (N/2)·atanh(2A/(κ(N+2))) and the critical size N_c(B, μ, K). The feedback parameter κ and the correction budget B are anchored in the thermodynamics of feedback (Landauer bound, Sagawa–Ueda second law), and an exhaustive three-class classification separates passive-barrier, driven-feedback, and fundamental-stochastic stabilization. The closing layer: the Kramers switching law τ = C·exp(NΔΦ) with the action ΔΦ in closed integral form — validated to 0.01% against independent external 100-digit data; the Born rule demoted from postulate to corollary of the branch-weight martingale, exact up to exp(−NΔΦ); a master stabilization-window inequality making the transition a computable thermodynamic resource threshold; a decision mechanism requiring no minimum seed; and three theorems (T1–T3) proving that a single postulate — the actuality of micro-dissipative events, of the same epistemic type as the second law — is both minimal and irreducible, and that no ensemble experiment can ever distinguish legal completions. The honest negatives are equally central: the V10.16 algebraic kernel was refuted as written; the naive cross-code invariant was refuted and its residual form empirically disfavoured; two pre-registered empirical campaigns on public data (352 IBM repetition-code snapshots, 20,654,080 trials; cross-platform physical GHZ) confirmed standard physics with no anomaly. The falsifiable frontier is exactly formulated: the amplitude-dependence discriminant C104 on logical (error-corrected) GHZ states — data requests prepared — and decision-time statistics distinguishing internal from external triggers (G5). If these tests confirm the theory, its claimed status is that of a complete effective fundamental theory with a single thermodynamic-type postulate — the epistemic title of thermodynamics itself, no more, no less. If they fail, the negative will be published on the same footing. Deposit contents: complete and light versions, each in English and French. Every claim carries an explicit status; every number is reproducible from the archived registers and codes. Supersedes V9.2.
