Dark Particles as a Possible Unified Nature of Dark Energy and Dark Matter
Abstract
This paper advances a hypothesis unifying dark energy and dark matter into a single entity: both are manifestations of one population of hypothetical self-replicating dark particles. Their continuous self-replication in intergalactic space creates a dynamic pressure driving cosmic expansion (dark energy), while local accumulation around galaxies forms halos and raises stellar velocities in galactic outskirts (dark matter). This unification distinguishes the work from ΛCDM, where the two are independent. The central difficulty of any unified dark sector — combining clustering with a repulsive action — is addressed, and a resolution via density-dependent self-replication is proposed. A testable criterion (a dynamic coupling between dark-energy and dark-matter densities, and H0 = r/3) and a falsification condition are formulated. The work develops the cosmological aspect of the author’s self-replication model.
