SELF-REPLICATION COSMOLOGY: BLACK HOLES AS A MEDIUM OF SELF-REPLICATING DARK PARTICLES AND THE COSMOLOGICAL COUPLING OF THEIR MASS GROWTH
Abstract
This paper considers the hypothesis that the interior of a black hole is not a singularity but a dense medium of hypothetical self-replicating dark particles. The hypothesis is placed within the line of regular black holes and alternative models of the interior — Bardeen’s regular metric, gravitational vacuum condensate stars, Planck stars. The principal advance over the previous version is that the link between black-hole mass growth and cosmic expansion is carried through to a quantitative prediction. Since dilution by expansion is absent in a gravitationally bound object, the mass grows as dM/dt = ΓM, whence the cosmological coupling index is k(z) = 3H∞/H(z) = −3w_eff(z): it is not constant but decreases with redshift, equalling 2.10 at the present epoch, about 0.93 at z = 2, and tending to 3 in the far future. One and the same parameter therefore governs both the dark-energy equation of state and the rate of black-hole mass growth. Comparison with the measurement of Farrah et al. (k = 3.11 +1.19/−1.33) gives agreement at the lower edge of the interval. The event horizon is retained in the model, so that the EHT shadow and the gravitational-wave signal of mergers are unaffected, and mass growth remains the only external manifestation. A testable criterion and a falsification condition are formulated.
