Neutrino as a Generator of Life: Hypothesis of Abiogenesis and Evolution in the PSP Model
Abstract
This work proposes a hypothesis about the role of neutrinos in the processes of abiogenesis and evolution. The main assumption is that neutrinos, passing through cellular structures, create microscopic fluctuations in the chromosome plasma, leading to the rearrangement of DNA fragments. Unlike gamma radiation, which destroys molecular bonds, neutrinos facilitate their reorientation without breaking them. The hypothesis is based on the PSP model, where neutrinos are born in the torus cyclotron and continuously permeate space. The empirical basis includes: (1) MINERvA experiment data showing anomalous neutrino interaction with carbon nuclei (25% of events knock out proton+neutron pair); (2) Drosophila studies demonstrating qualitatively different chromosomal aberrations induced by neutrons vs X-rays — specifically, neutron-induced chromatid rearrangements and multilocus deletions, indicating rearrangement rather than destruction; (3) the fine-tuning of the weak interaction as a necessary condition for carbon-based life. This paper is available in both English and Russian.
