SCU+CUF 6.2: Leader-AI Thesis Evolution Roadmap
Abstract
SCU+CUF 6.2 is an open-source AI management system and conversational-agent platform that addresses a fundamental gap in current human-AI interaction paradigms. While existing approaches—exemplified by OpenAI's Codex (autonomous execution) and ByteDance's Trae (continuous alignment)—each capture part of the human-AI collaboration spectrum, both share a critical blind spot: neither adequately handles the transition from vague inspiration to concrete specification. This work introduces the Leader-AI Thesis, proposing that AI should possess role elasticity, dynamically sliding between three archetypes based on the human's current state: Facilitator (when inspiration is fuzzy), Executor (when directives are clear), and Interpreter (when subordinate agents encounter ambiguity). The thesis argues that as agent populations scale from dozens to thousands, humans should interact only with a single Leader AI that handles intent distillation, subtask decomposition, worker-pool scheduling, ambiguity arbitration, and deviation traceback. The paper presents a four-feature ideal—role elasticity, progressive alignment, layered governance, and closed-loop feedback with understanding metrics—and maps each against the SCU 6.1 baseline implementation. A three-phase evolution roadmap is proposed: Phase 1 inserts a unified failure-decision hook and intent-clarity classifier; Phase 2 adds an intent-distillation clarifier with progressive alignment protocol; Phase 3 introduces a standalone Leader Orchestrator with worker pool and deviation-traceback closed loop. The system is built on a strict four-layer architecture (D←M←W1←W2) with a cross-cutting CUF Guard providing 7D Balance and Entropy Tax dual-metric quality gates.
