Abstract

Version 2 (2026-08-20). One CORRECTION: "an open world" is too weak. Version 1 glossed the dissipation restoration as "an open world cannot keep the ghost's phase" and carried "objectivity needs an open world" as its framing sentence, including in the section title. Both are too weak in a way that matters: an open world that only DEPHASES keeps the ghost perfectly. Measured on the one-basis menu where the parity twist is blind, dephasing on the system, on a memory cell, or everywhere at once, and depolarising on the system, all leave the census response at about 1e-31 at strengths up to p = 2. What restores visibility is a NON-UNITAL channel acting on the SYSTEM: amplitude damping gives 0.361, generalised amplitude damping with a biased fixed point gives 0.135 at partial non-unitality, and non-unital damping on a CELL restores nothing (1.3e-31). Both conditions are necessary. Unitality is the discriminator, not the operator's name. The corrected sentence: objectivity needs a world open to ENERGY, not merely open to phase. The constant (4/15)(5+p)/p is NOT impugned in its own generator-level framework; only the sentence around it changes. Since the correction was filed the discriminator has been given a proof rather than a measurement: a Lindblad dissipator commutes with the twist conjugation exactly when T L T = +/- L, which every Pauli jump operator satisfies, so no unital channel can eject the ghost at any rate or at any composition depth, and amplitude damping ejects only where the twist acts as sigma_x or sigma_y, which in this architecture is the system and never a memory cell. The exterior identifiability theory (papers 1-3 of this program) is turned interior: in the collision-model architecture of quantum Darwinism, the causal structure itself hands out operation credentials, and the question becomes whether the world can certify its own factorization from the records it keeps. Generator level: one-sided sufficiency with a closed-form sine law; the parity-twist theorem (redundancy is structurally powerless against exactly one global ghost); four restoration laws with derived constants (tilted writes (4/3)/sin^2 eta; second readout basis 8/5 exactly; one odd-dimensional cell free, with the interior/exterior quantifier reversal; dissipation (4/15)(5+p)/p: objectivity needs an open world). Statistics level: the chain law (relational timing with gentleness dampers), the complementarity floor with interior optimal write strength, and the dividend: weak records at the interior optimum extract MORE frame information than projective records, superlinearly (~K^1.85, sustained through K = 10, factor 5.1 at K = 10), with mechanism (shared-fragment covariance conditioning), the readout gap split in half (product bases recover half the quantum-Fisher gap at every K), and re-collision potency with an intra-fragment two-time accumulation mechanism confirmed two ways.
