Abstract

Fenocosm record v22 — the scattering-moment null audit (P-3.4). A sealed, append-only results record of the Feno program. A stronger statistic for record v7's null audit, and a diagnosis of that record's undiagnosed negative-z anomaly. Record v7 collapsed most reported multifractality into non-significance using the MFDFA two-point width — one number, low power, against a null that preserves all linear structure. This record replaces it with a wavelet-scattering moment vector (reimplemented from the published methods of Bruna, Mallat, Bacry & Muzy 2015 and Morel et al. 2025) and re-runs the same 22 Swift/BAT sources with the same masks and freshly generated ensembles at the pinned seed. The width columns reproduce v7 exactly; the omnibus detects far more — 22/22 sources are a significant departure from the IAAFT null against the width's 7/22. The record insists on the decomposition that keeps that honest: the departure is diverse (second-order intermittency, time-asymmetry, sparsity), and the cross-scale multiplicative coupling a multifractality claim specifically needs dominates in only 3 of 22 sources. Its anchor battery is the source of Paper H's headline power comparison (width 0.125, omnibus 1.00 on the cascade controls, both at 0.00 monofractal false-flag rate). Deposit note. All seven Feno-program repositories are private and remain private, so this deposit is standalone: it carries its own reproduction materials, its metadata contains no repository link, and sibling work is referenced by DOI rather than by repository path. Related Zenodo DOIs cited below are reserved with publication pending. Part of the Feno program. The source repository is private; the reproduction materials for this record are contained in the record itself.
