Study protocol for a nationwide Danish register-based study examining variation in psychotropic medication initiation according to parental socioeconomic position and country of origin among children and adolescents aged 0–17 years during 2010–2022. The study and statistical analysis plan were preregistered on the Open Science Framework (OSF) on 31 August 2026.
