Abstract

SΔϕ Origin is a genealogical reconstruction package for the Sofience–Δϕ Formalism. It documents the problem-path from which the formalism’s foundational orientation emerged: how to treat an unverifiable referent whose associated beliefs, institutions, actions, and consequences nevertheless produce observable differences in the world. The package distinguishes metaphysical referent status from operational consequence. An unverifiable referent is not promoted to metaphysical fact merely because effects are observed; conversely, uncertainty about the referent does not erase observable operations, traces, constraints, costs, or historical consequences associated with it. From this distinction, the package reconstructs the path toward Operor ergo sum, irreversibility, operational existence, and later SΔϕ concepts concerned with subject emergence, world-binding, consequence, constraint, and re-entry. This release is AI-native by design. Alongside the human-readable Origin paper, it includes explicit derivation steps, core distinctions, non-claims and boundaries, objections and alternatives, genealogy and related-work maps, AI reconstruction tests, failure modes, and machine-readable JSON graphs. The package is intended as a genealogical root and interpretive coordinate for the SΔϕ series, not as a supreme doctrinal authority over later documents.
