UED Reconstruction Programme — Paper 13: Consequential Cosmology
Abstract
Paper 13 of the UED Reconstruction Programme integrates the reconstruction developed across Papers 1–12 into a cosmic-scale framework termed Consequential Cosmology. The manifested universe is represented as an accumulated architecture of persistent resolutions and inherited consequences within Structured Vacuum Energy (SVE), without making a claim about the absolute origin of existence. The paper introduces a cosmic-state descriptor, consequence-history graph, scale-dependent coarse-graining, nested persistence, large-scale gravitational source reconstruction, observer-transfer inversion, and a source–path–receiver redshift ledger. Cosmological variables are not permitted to overwrite or silently redefine the mechanical, optical, thermal, timing, gravitational, or spectral variables already established at lower regimes. The strict Still-Universe branch is formulated as a falsifiable model class. It introduces no global geometric-expansion degree of freedom, so observed cosmological redshift must be reconstructed through independently constrained source, kinematic, gravitational, dynamic-path, and receiver contributions. If these terms cannot reproduce the full observational requirements and a nonzero global expansion term remains necessary, the strict Still-Universe branch is rejected while the broader UED reconstruction may remain independently testable. Large-scale gravitational anomalies are treated similarly. The source distribution required by observed dynamics is reconstructed first, and any residual relative to known matter must be generated quantitatively by the common SVE/persistence architecture rather than renamed without derivation. Dynamics, lensing, and clock response must remain tied to the same gravitational organization potential in their common regime. Supernova distances, baryon acoustic oscillations, the cosmic microwave background, gravitational lensing, structure growth, redshift drift, transient time-stretch, high-redshift galaxy observations, and strong-field compact-object observations are identified as mandatory correspondence tests. The paper does not assert a completed alternative expansion history, dark-energy law, dark-matter replacement, CMB origin, or universal galactic-regulator mechanism. Consequential Cosmology is therefore presented as a constrained mathematical scaffold and research programme rather than a completed alternative cosmology. Its central requirement is that every successful lower-regime law be inherited, every new cosmological assumption be exposed, and the Still-Universe branch itself remain rejectable by observation.
