UED Reconstruction Programme — Paper 14: Cross-Technology and Cross-Observation Unification Audit
Abstract
Paper 14 of the UED Reconstruction Programme performs the first explicit cross-technology and cross-observation unification audit across the reconstructed regimes developed in Papers 1–13. The paper distinguishes conceptual breadth from physical unification. Repeated terminology is not treated as evidence of a unified mechanism. Genuine unification is required to preserve operational variable identity, dimensional continuity, shared parameters, independent calibration, and cross-domain predictive closure. A domain-indexed forward-model architecture is introduced in which measured outputs are represented through shared and domain-specific parameters. The audit defines a joint residual statistic, a standardized shared-parameter closure measure, leave-one-domain-out prediction, a descriptive patch-burden ratio, and five maturity levels ranging from interpretive correspondence to cross-domain prediction. The strongest present bridges are identified as energy accounting across mechanical, electrical, and thermal systems; Planck’s constant across optical detection, atomic spectroscopy, and clocks; statistical use of Boltzmann’s constant across thermal regimes; and the common gravitational organization potential linking mechanical, clock, and optical response channels. Important missing bridges remain explicit. Generic SVE ripple variables lack absolute metrological calibration; the optical ripple state has not been derived from electrical and magnetic variables; ATT has a rigorous first-passage definition but no universal cross-technology response coefficient; nonlinear strong-gravity closure remains unknown; and dynamic-path redshift has not yet acquired an independently predicted nonzero law. The paper also imposes external correspondence constraints from equivalence-principle tests, precision optical clocks, compact-object imaging, gravitational-wave observations, and cosmological datasets. The strict Still-Universe branch is required to survive joint cosmological data closure without inserting unconstrained functions or hidden geometric-expansion terms. Paper 14 concludes that the UED Reconstruction Programme has achieved a coherent variable grammar and several genuine operational cross-domain bridges, but has not yet achieved a parameter-complete unified physical theory. It therefore converts unification from a declaration into a reproducible calibration, prediction, and falsification programme.
