Abstract

Subtropical coastal megastructures face severe thermodynamic penalties from conventional compression-based HVAC (> 65% of peak urban grid load). We present a closed-loop thermodynamic architecture combining SWAC (COP=19.8), Venturi Badgir aerodynamics (dT=-11.2C), and MED desalination (1.8 kWh/m3). Net 25-year OPEX savings: $420M.
