dnalang stack 2026-09-20: dnalang-core, organism_sim, bridge — pre-registered results
Abstract
Three repositories, snapshot 2026-09-20, with pre-registered results and their data files. dnalang-core — genome language and compiler for quantum circuits; Aer/IBM backends; GA over dynamical-decoupling sequences; write-ahead hash-chained ledger. A rewrite keeping only what survived hardware tests. organism_sim — artificial-life simulation of rule-evolving agents: XCS-lineage Learning Classifier System, closed s-expression action DSL, routed Payload(content, pressure) bus with cross-agent credit, hash-chained telemetry. bridge — organism_sim controller over dnalang-core's DD search space, evaluated on Aer under quasi-static dephasing and ZZ crosstalk as exact unitaries; provenance joined across both hash chains on (genome_key, calibration_hash). Pre-registered results (criteria stated before each run; tuning seeds 100+, evaluation seeds 0–29 / 0–4; nothing re-tuned on evaluation seeds): Emergent signalling over the bus (50 seeds): 9/50 full injective protocol, 36/50 partial, 5/50 pooling. Concept drift on the 6-multiplexer: organism structural layer FAIL (recovery ratio 0.80 vs plain XCS, IQRs identical) — redundant with XCS's own GA/subsumption. Relay failure (split 6-mux over A→relay→B): silent failure PASS — local trigger restores routing on 30/30 seeds, median 100 trials vs 200 for a centralized supervisor with global probe access, 0 false alarms; poisoned relay FAIL (20/30; CUSUM change-point trigger 24/30, needs 27/30). Bridge Step 3 (budget-matched DD search, hard calibration, 5 seeds): PASS as a tie — organism 0.9763, dnalang GA 0.9758, staggered XY4 0.9705 (verified, 8192 shots). Bridge Tier 4 (calibration shock): organism structural layer FAIL (1/5); exploratory: organism controllers re-converge in 11–14 evaluations vs 30–38 for the population GA. No physical constants, hardware stubs, or neural models in organism_sim/bridge; a test enforces the vocabulary. Earlier records under this author's name that were refuted are listed in dnalang-core's README with their errata DOIs.
