Appendix 1 The bed retrofit rules refer to how beds are transformed based on the planned reserved beds and the No. of empty beds at the end of the previous period. Different types of wards have different priorities based on their importance or urgency in providing medical care. The constraints regarding bed retrofit rules consider different types of wards with different priorities.
