CliMA Land and Emerald simulations archive
Abstract
Global simulation using Emerald (formerly CliMA Land). The global simulation is tagged as B1 (first global output using the new Emerald model). The key new aspects from the A* versions include: Use optimality stomatal model (Wang et al., 2020) Non-steady-state leaf stomatal conductance and temperature Soil water and energy budget enabled Some bug fixes The combined file includes the following data (annual mean): GPP: gross primary productivity (μmol m-2 s-1) PPAR: photosynthetically active radiation absorbed by the canopy that goes to photosystems (μmol m-2 s-1) LONGWAVE_OUT: outgoing longwave radiation (W m-2) NET_LONGWAVE: net longwave radiation (W m-2) SHORTWAVE_OUT: outgoing shortwave radiation (W m-2) NET_SHORTWAVE: net shortwave radiation (W m-2) T_SKIN: skin temperature estimated from LONGWAVE_OUT (K)
