Abstract
The information in this volume relates to timber framed buildings in South Yorkshire. This was a method of building, of which many interesting examples survive, once prevalent in pre-industrial South Yorkshire. The volume comprises a general discussion of the technology, detailed descriptions of six buildings and a gazetteer of other timber-framed buildings in South Yorkshire.
