Abstract

The paper presents the results of studies on the determination of the grafting affinity of 6 local (aboriginal) grape varieties of new selection (interspecific) that produce grapes for wine and for table, grafted on 3 rootstock varieties cultivated in the Republic of Moldova. The highest yield of planting material was obtained on varieties Pameati Negrulea, Osennii ciornii, Apiren negru de Grozeşti and Apiren roz, grafted on rootstock Berlandieri x Riparia Kober 5 BB, and the variety Legenda on rootstock Berlandieri x Riparia SO4, and variety Floricica - on rootstock - Riparia x Rupestris 101-14. By the grafting of autochthonous vine varieties of new selection (interspecific) on rootstock varieties with the best grafting affinity, it is achieved an acceleration of the multiplication of grafted viticultural planting material from the biological category "Baza" intended for the establishment of special graft plantations. Thereby the nursery units of the republic will produce grafted viticultural planting material with a high value of biological category "Certificat", intended for the establishment of modern long-lived vine plantations that will ensure a high quality and stable potential of grape production.
