PEDIATRIC ACETABULAR FRACTURES
Abstract
Acetabular fractures are exceptionally uncommon in children, with an estimated incidence of around 1 per 100,000 pediatric patients each year. Despite their rarity, they represent the second leading cause of morbidity among pediatric fractures, surpassed only by skull fractures. These injuries are of particular clinical concern because of their potential to disrupt normal skeletal development and growth.
