Abstract

Upper extremity fractures are among the most common childhood traumas, and in addition to ap-propriate treatment, an effective rehabilitation process is essential for optimal functional recovery. This review comprehensively addresses pediatric bone physiology, fracture-specific clinical features, post-treatment complications, and the fundamental principles of rehabilitation. Key concepts, includ-ing age-specific planning, fracture-type-oriented exercise strategies, phase-based intervention stages, and patient-family collaboration, are discussed with support from current literature. Physiotherapy approaches, including gamified exercises, proprioceptive training, electrotherapy, and functional activ-ities, are also presented. The aim is to emphasize the importance of individualized and age-appropriate rehabilitation protocols to restore functional independence in children.
