Abstract

Direct radiography is the primary technique used in the imaging of pediatric fractures. Unlike adults, pediatric bone has a richer structure histologically and vascularly. One of the main features that distin-guish pediatric bone structure from adult is its physeal structure. When imaging pediatric bone frac-tures, various angles and mutual evaluation methods are preferred, taking into account the difference in physis and periosteum structure.
