Abstract

Crescent mastopexy is a straight forward technique which can be used by surgeons who have just start-ed out their oncoplastic breast surgery training or for general surgeons doing breast surgery and want superior aesthetic outcomes. It is a good choice for women with mild ptosis who wish for a modest improvement in areolar position and breast shape. It can also be used for symmetrisation of the contra-lateral breast after breast disease surgery. It provides minimal scarring compared to other mastopexies, with good recovery.
