Tek Sağlık Yaklaşımıyla Dirençli Sağlık Sistemi ve Toplumsal Farkındalık Oluşturulması
Abstract
The One Health approach is an integrated and unifying approach that forms the basis for building a resilient health system and raising public awareness. This approach recognizes that the health of humans, domestic and wild animals, plants, and ecosystems are closely interconnected and interdependent. One Health aims to sustainably balance and improve global health. This approach is crucial for preventing, predicting, detecting, and addressing global health threats. The core themes of the One Health approach include environmental challenges such as zoonoses, antimicrobial resistance (AMR), food security, biodiversity decline, and climate change. Addressing these complex challenges requires systemic and holistic solutions that go beyond isolated approaches. A resilient health system aims to achieve the vision of a world that can better prevent, predict, detect, and respond to health threats, and contribute to sustainable development, improving the health of humans, animals, plants, and the environment. In this article, the holistic and unifying effects of the one health approach in building a health system resilient to global threats and raising public awareness will be discussed.
