TETRAPIROLE I NIE TYLKO... GŁÓWNE OBSZARY BADAŃ ORAZ OSIĄGNIĘCIA ZESPOŁU CHEMII PORFIRYN I PORFIRYNOIDÓW WYDZIAŁU CHEMII UNIWERSYTETU WROCŁAWSKIEGO

The paper presents a recent activity of the staff of the Research Group of Porphyrins and Porphyrinoids at the Department of Chemistry, University of Wrocław. Some particularly important achievements, such as modifications and peripheral coordination of the carbaporphyrinoid complexes, fusion and extension of the macrocyclic ring of norcorroles and their transformation into meso-heterocorroles, formation of new metalaporphyrins, including pallada-, platina-, and rhodaporphyrins, and catalysis with metalloporphyrins, are briefly described along with certain perspective implications of these results.
