Abstract

This study investigates the effect of job satisfaction on organizational loyalty among faculty members at the University of Dilling during the period 2023-2024.It focuses on key dimensions of job satisfaction, including wages and salaries, training, participation in decision-making, and the work environment. The study adopted a descriptive-analytical approach and employed a questionnaire consisting of 40 items based on a five-point Likert scale. The questionnaire was distributed to a systematic random sample of 91 faculty members, of which 80 valid responses were retrieved and analyzed using SPSS.The results revealed a strong, positive, and statistically significant relationship between job satisfaction and organizational loyalty (R = 0.768), indicating that job satisfaction explains a substantial proportion of the variance in organizational loyalty. The findings further showed that improving salary structures, providing continuous training, enhancing faculty participation in decision-making, and creating a supportive work environment significantly contribute to strengthening organizational loyalty, fostering creativity, and improving academic, administrative, and service performance. The study recommends regularly reviewing wage and salary structures in line with living costs, adopting continuous internal and external training programs, implementing fair material and moral incentive systems, and providing a motivating university environment that supports creativity and institutional excellence.
