Abstract
Finishing a PhD is challenging enough, but finding a job to continue your academic journey can feel like an impossible task. This article provides an insight into how the processes might unfold for postdoctoral and lectureship roles, and provides a few tips which might be useful in working towards employment as an academic at a UK university.
