Abstract

The county-level economy in Jilin Province plays a pivotal role in the province's development, yet faces multiple challenges including limited industrial clusters, a significant economic scale gap compared to developed regions, and uneven regional development. This study employs literature review and case analysis methods, utilizing planning documents and statistical yearbooks as data sources. It examines the actual conditions and characteristics of Jilin's county-level economic development while conducting comparative analyses with advanced provinces. Despite Jilin's advantages in distinctive industries, abundant resources, and innovation potential, these constraints hinder its progress relative to developed regions. To achieve high-quality development, strategies such as optimizing industrial structures, fostering industrial clusters, enhancing park construction efficiency, and promoting regional coordination should be implemented.
