Abstract

The volume presents the results of a national research project (PRIN) aimed at exploring the theme of open social innovation in Italy by analyzing sixteen exemplary cases. It highlights multi-stakeholder initiatives characterized by resource sharing and collaborative efforts among public, private, and civil society actors to address the needs of communities and territories with a strong focus on intentional social impact. The volume is structured around four thematic areas: public governance, sustainable finance, entrepreneurship, and social impact measurement, offering a comparative analysis of these cases with both theoretical and practical reflections.
