From the New World to contemporary weirdness, from American exoticism to the foreignness of migrants, this volume explores the paths of strangeness in Latin America. It does so through literature and other arts, intertwining politics and poetry, and constantly moving between the center and the margins of the canon and the continent. Without attempting to exhaust them, it highlights the incredible richness of these itineraries through a multiplicity of critical approaches.
