Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the impact of circadian rhythm disruption on allergic diseases, and to analyze it using allergic rhinitis as an example. The research methods included literature review and questionnaire survey. The results showed that sleep quality was significantly positively correlated with the severity of allergic rhinitis symptoms, especially in nasal congestion and sneezing. Sleep rhythm-related indicators and symptoms did not reach statistical significance, but showed a certain trend of correlation. In addition, the symptoms of the subjects were most serious in the morning, and adjusting the medication time could alleviate the symptoms to a certain extent. It is concluded that circadian rhythm and sleep quality play an important role in the occurrence and symptoms of allergic rhinitis, which should be paid attention to in future research and clinical treatment.
