Abstract

This paper conducts an in-depth exploration of the impact of supply chain management (SCM) on enterprise management. In the context of globalization and increasingly fierce market competition, efficient SCM has become indispensable for enterprises' survival and development. Through a comprehensive literature analysis and case study method, this study investigates how SCM affects enterprises in terms of operational efficiency, cost control, market responsiveness, and overall competitiveness. Specifically, it reviews relevant academic literatures, analyzes typical cases of well-known enterprises such as Apple Inc. and Toyota, and summarizes the practical experience of SCM application. It is found that effective SCM can significantly enhance an enterprise's competitive edge by optimizing resource allocation, reducing operational costs, and improving market response speed. However, there are considerable challenges in its practical implementation, including high technological investment costs and difficulties in coordinating multiple stakeholders. This research provides valuable references for enterprises to optimize their supply chain strategies and promote sustainable development.
