Abstract

The article examines the economic component of the land use system, which is associated with the study of the characteristics of land as the main mode of production and the interaction of all participants in land relations. The purpose of the study is to form the theoretical and methodological foundations of the economic component of the agricultural land use system, as well as to identify areas for improving the efficiency of land use, taking into account the transformation of land relations and the need for their state regulation. As a result, it has been established that the economic component of the agricultural land use system is complex and manifests itself through production efficiency, rational use of land resources and the level of profitability of subjects. It is revealed that the state of this system is characterized by insufficient methodological elaboration and is at the stage of formation. It is proved that the key factors for increasing the efficiency of land use are improving soil quality, developing economic incentives and improving government regulation mechanisms. It is shown that the dynamics of agricultural production is not directly dependent on changes in acreage, which indicates the increasing role of intensive development factors. The economic elements that form the basis of land use are systematized, and their relationship with social and environmental aspects is proved. It is concluded that the formation of a sustainable land use system requires an integrated approach, including the development of a regulatory framework, the improvement of tax and pricing mechanisms, as well as the coordination of interests of participants in land relations.
